We are headed into fall and everyone from this area knows with fall comes all of the area Fall Festivals. Finley got to experience our Fall Festival here as well as the Fall Festival where Grandma and Grandpa live. We found some important lessons as well as did Finny. Going for dinner with a tired and impatient 5 year old tends to make for a very miserable experience for all. We managed to make the best of the time we had up there when she was not throwing a tantrum (yes..happy go lucky Fin can throw one heck of a tantrum, experienced by a great portion of our county🫣). She got her face painted and rode some fun rides. The cars were her favorite☺️. We agreed to go back the next night if she could behave herself, and she held up her end of the bargain. She found a friend from school and rode some more rides. We found the Lady Bugs were about more than she could handle., lol. I wish I had got a picture of the look on her face when they went around. All in all, day 2 was a much better experience. We also got to go to a parade with Grandma and Grandpa and jump in a bounce house. Face painting at this Fall Festival was a bit more elaborate. The following week at school brought midterms and as we expected, she in knocking this Kindergarten thing out of the park. So much that she is even excelling at chatting……something we will need to work on. We even did our first school pick up. I don’t know who was more excited Finny or Mommy. I think Ryan the Bus Driver and Mrs. Weber were probably reminded a thousand times she was a pick up. We even made a pact that when school dismisses early, she would be a pick up. This gives her and Mommy both something to look forward to ❤️. Finny had her first cheerleading camp and got to cheer with the big girls and although she was scared at first, she really did a great job. It is hard to believe she is old enough for school activities. That is all for now. Til next time. ❤️
